Don Lubov is an author, artist and teacher has been reading, writing and living a Zen-based existence since his enlightenment in 1971 at age 30. Through a total surrender to the present, he learned to accept his nows. This led to an immediate awakening from his dream existence in the 3-D world of duality and a remembrance of his true (original) self. Since this awakening he has been gratefully celebrating all his subsequent nows. It was at this time that Don began writing notes about his awakening. Two years later, in 1973, he read his first Zen book and found a name for what had taken place in August of 1971 - That name was Zen. Twelve years of teaching art and design on the university level and 39 years as a professional artist, coupled with 30 years of writing his own Zen-type aphorisms led to his first book: "Long Island Zen"-Vol.1. This was followed three years later by "Long Island Zen"-vol.2. His most recent book: "Who Am I and Why Am I Here?" is the text for his classes on Zen and spirituality, offered at three locations. Don's Drawings, Paintings, 3-D Constructions, Quantum, Pictures, and Architecture were inspired by surrender to an assortment of nows. Those probably were not UFOs that hovered over China recently, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology analyst said. The images of the UFOs have caused quite a stir in China and on blogs around the world. But many of the images appear to be faked with the software program Photoshop and the ones that were not faked seem to depict the launch of a Chinese ballistic missile, said Geoffrey Forden, an MIT weapons analyst. Forden, who also specializes in Russian and Chinese space systems. "It seems to me that a DF-21 (missile) launch somewhere near Jiuquan and aimed at a point somewhere in the eastern Gobi desert is the most likely cause of this 'UFO'", Forden wrote. Chinese officials have been looking into the reports about UFOs.
